The Commission, while in thedischarge of official duties, shall have access to any paper or document, andmay compel the attendance of any State official or employee before theCommission or secure any evidence under the provisions of G.S. 120‑19. Inaddition, the provisions of G.S. 120‑19.1 through 120‑19.4 shallapply to the proceedings of the Commission as if it were a joint committee ofthe General Assembly.
