Any funds or part thereof ofan area authority that are transferred by the area authority to any entityincluding a firm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stockassociation, agency, or nonprofit private foundation shall be subject toreimbursement by the area authority to the State when expenditures of the areaauthority are disallowed pursuant to a State or federal audit.
