Subject to the provisions ofArticle 2 of Chapter 135 of Volume 3B of the General Statutes, as amended, noother provision of law in any other statute which provides wholly or partly atthe expense of any county, city or town for pensions or retirement benefits foremployees of the said county, city or town, their widows, or other dependentsshall apply to members or beneficiaries of the Retirement System established bythis Article.
