§ 130A‑195.  Destroyingstray or feral animals in quarantine districts.

When quarantine has beendeclared and stray or feral animals continue to run uncontrolled in the area,any peace officer or Animal Control Officer shall have the right, afterreasonable effort has been made to apprehend the animals, to destroy the strayor feral animals and properly dispose of their bodies.  (1935, c. 122, s. 13; 1953,c. 876, s. 9; 1983, c. 891, s. 2; 2009‑327, s. 10.)
