§136‑139.  Alternate control.

In addition to any othercontrol provided for in this Article, the Department of Transportation mayregulate outdoor advertising in accordance with the standards provided by thisArticle and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, by the acquisition bypurchase, gift, or condemnation of easements or any other interests in realproperty prohibiting or controlling the erection and maintenance of advertisingwithin 660 feet of the right‑of‑way line of the interstate andprimary system of the State.
