§ 136‑44.2C.  Specialappropriations for State construction.

Special appropriations for theconstruction of State highways may be used for the planning, design, right‑of‑wayacquisition, and construction of transportation projects for the StateTransportation System and Federal Aid System, including secondary roads,contained in the Transportation Improvement Program prepared pursuant to G.S.143B‑350(f)(4). Funding from the special appropriations used forsecondary road projects in the Transportation Improvement Program is notsubject to the allocation formula and restrictions of G.S. 136‑44.2, 136‑44.2A,or 136‑44.5.  (1991,c. 689, s. 210.1; 2009‑266, s. 20.)
