§ 136‑89.48. Declaration of policy.

The General Assembly herebyfinds, determines, and declares that this Article is necessary for theimmediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, the promotion ofthe general welfare, the improvement and development of transportationfacilities in the State, the elimination of hazards at grade intersections, andother related purposes. (1957, c. 993, s. 1.)
