§ 14‑140.1.  Certainfire to be guarded by watchman.

Any person, firm, corporation,or other legal entity who shall burn any brush, grass, or other materialwhereby any property may be endangered or destroyed, without keeping andmaintaining a careful watchman in charge of the burning, shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor which may include a fine of not less than ten dollars($10.00) or more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Fire escaping from the brush,grass, or other material while burning shall be prima facie evidence ofviolation of this provision. (1995, c. 210, s. 2.)
