§ 14‑231.  Failing tomake reports and discharge other duties.

If any State or county officershall fail, neglect or refuse to make, file or publish any report, statement orother paper, or to deliver to his successor all books and other propertybelonging to his office, or to pay over or deliver to the proper person allmoneys which come into his hands by virtue or color of his office, or todischarge any duty devolving upon him by virtue of his office and required ofhim by law, he shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
