§14‑46.  Concealing birth of child.

If any person shall, bysecretly burying or otherwise disposing of the dead body of a newborn child,endeavor to conceal the birth of such child, such person shall be punished as aClass I felon.  Any person aiding, counseling or abetting any other person inconcealing the birth of a child in violation of this statute shall be guilty ofa Class 1 misdemeanor.
