§ 143‑110.  Placesvacated for failure to attend meetings.

Unless otherwise specially provided by law, whenever a trustee ordirector of any institution supported in whole or in part by Stateappropriation shall fail to be present for two successive years at the regularmeetings of the board, his place as trustee or director shall be deemed vacantand shall be filled as provided by law for other vacancies on such boards.

This section shall not apply to any trustee or director who holdsoffice as such by virtue of another public office held by him and shall notapply to any trustee or director chosen by any agency or authority other thanthe State of North Carolina. (1927, c. 225.)
