§ 143‑270. Statement of claims against board or agency; time limitation on presentation.

Any person having any claim or cause of action against any board oragency whose affairs are being liquidated under this Article, may present averified statement of the same to the Secretary of Administration, who shallinvestigate and approve or disapprove such claim; any claim not presented tothe Secretary of Administration within one year from the time such board oragency becomes inoperative by law shall be barred, and no claim shall beapproved or paid which is barred by any statute of limitation or any statutoryprohibition in respect to the payment of any claim, or the refund of anydeposit, dues, assessment, or examination or license fee.
