The Division of VeteransAffairs of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs as described inArticle 5 of Chapter 143B is hereby transferred by a Type I transfer, asdefined in G.S. 143A‑6, to the Department of Administration. TheSecretary of Administration is hereby empowered and directed to employ withinthe Department of Administration an additional assistant secretary as AssistantSecretary for Veterans Affairs.
