The Historic Murfreesboro Commission shall submit an annual report ofits activities, holdings, and finances, including an audit of its accounts by acertified public accountant, to the Secretary of Cultural Resources. In theevent such annual report is not received by the Secretary, or if such reportdoes not indicate the need for the continuation of the Commission, theSecretary of Cultural Resources is authorized to recommend to the next General Assemblythe abolition of the Commission.
