§ 143B‑146.14.  Dispute resolution; appeals toSecretary.

The Secretary shall establish a procedure for the resolution ofdisputes between the residential schools and the parents or guardians ofstudents who attend the schools.

An appeal shall lie from the decision of all residential schoolpersonnel to the Secretary or the Secretary's designee. In all of these appealsit is the duty of the Secretary to see that a proper notice is given to allparties concerned and that a record of the hearing is properly entered in therecords. (1998‑131, s.5.)
