§ 143B‑164.14. Admission of pupils from other states.

The Department of Health and Human Services may, on such terms as itdeems proper and upon the receipt of tuition and necessary expenses asprescribed by the Department of Health and Human Services, admit as pupilspersons of like infirmity from any other state but such power shall not beexercised to the exclusion of any child of this State, and the person soadmitted shall not acquire the condition of a resident of the State by virtueof such pupilage.
