Statutes > North-carolina > Chapter_143C > GS_143C-6-8§ 143C‑6‑8. Stateagencies may incur financial obligations only if authorized by the Director ofthe Budget and subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
Unless otherwise authorized bythe Director as provided by law, purchase orders, contracts, salarycommitments, and any other financial obligations by State agencies shall besubject to the availability of appropriated funds or available funds that arenot State funds as defined in this Chapter.
