§ 15A-1475.  Reports.

Beginning January 1, 2008, andannually thereafter, the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission shallreport on its activities to the Joint Legislative Corrections, Crime Control,and Juvenile Justice Oversight Committee and the State Judicial Council. Thereport may contain recommendations of any needed legislative changes related tothe activities of the Commission. The report shall recommend the funding neededby the Commission, the district attorneys, and the State Bureau of Investigationin order to meet their responsibilities under S.L. 2006-184. Recommendationsconcerning the district attorneys or the State Bureau of Investigation shallonly be made after consultations with the North Carolina Conference of DistrictAttorneys and the Attorney General.
