§ 15A‑721. Definitions.
Where appearing in thisArticle the term "Governor" includes any person performing thefunctions of Governor by authority of the law of this State. The term"executive authority" includes the Governor, and any personperforming the functions of governor in a state other than this State. The term"state," referring to a state other than this State, includes anyother state or territory, organized or unorganized, of the United States of America.(1937, c. 273, s. 1; 1973, c. 1286, s. 16.)
