§15A‑722.  Duty of Governor as to fugitives from justice of other states.

Subject to the provisions ofthis Article, the provisions of the Constitution of the United Statescontrolling, and any and all acts of Congress enacted in pursuance thereof, itis the duty of the Governor of this State to have arrested and delivered up tothe executive authority of any other state of the United States any personcharged in that state with treason, felony or other crime, who has fled fromjustice and is found in this State.
