§ 160A‑30.  Surveysof proposed new areas.

The governing bodies of the cities and towns after five days' writtennotice to the owner of record or persons in possession of the premises arehereby authorized to enter upon any lands to make surveys or examinations asmay be necessary in carrying out the mapping requirements of proposedannexations under any provision of Article 4A of Chapter 160A; provided, thecity or town authorizing such entry shall make reimbursement for any damageresulting from such activity.
