§ 160A‑498. Railroad corridor preservation.

A city or county may acquire property, by purchase or gift, to preservea railroad corridor established by the Department of Transportation.  A city orcounty that acquires property to preserve a railroad corridor may lease theproperty or use the property for interim compatible uses until the property isused for a railroad. (1989, c. 600, s. 9.)
