Whenever a reference is made in another portion of the General Statutesor any local act, or any city ordinance, resolution, or order, to a portion ofChapter 160 of the General Statutes that is repealed or superseded by thisChapter, the reference shall be deemed amended to refer to that portion of thisChapter which most nearly corresponds to the repealed or superseded portion ofChapter 160.
