Article 4A.

Political Activities byBoard of Elections Members and Employees.

§ 163‑38.  Applicabilityof Article.

This Article applies tomembers and employees of the State Board of Elections and of each county andmunicipal board of elections. With regard to prohibitions in this Articleconcerning candidates, referenda, and committees, the prohibitions do not applyif the candidate or referendum will not be on the ballot in an area within thejurisdiction of the board, or if the political committee or referendumcommittee is not involved with an election or referendum that will be on theballot in an area within the jurisdiction of the board. (2000‑114, s. 1; 2007‑391,s. 14(a).)
