All public and general statutes not contained in the General Statutesof North Carolina are hereby repealed with the exceptions and limitationshereafter mentioned in this Chapter. No statute or law which has beenheretofore repealed shall be revived by the repeal contained in any of thesections of the General Statutes of North Carolina or by the omission of anyrepealing statute from the General Statutes. All public and general statutesenacted at the regular session of the General Assembly of 1943 shall be deemedto repeal any conflicting provisions of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
