§ 20‑279.12.  Courts toreport nonpayment of judgments.

Whenever any person failswithin 60 days to satisfy any judgment, upon the written request of thejudgment creditor or his attorney it shall be the duty of the clerk of thecourt, or of the judge of a court which has no clerk, in which any suchjudgment is rendered within this State, to forward to the Commissionerimmediately after the expiration of said 60 days, a certified copy of suchjudgment.

If the defendant named in anycertified copy of a judgment reported to the Commissioner is a nonresident, theCommissioner shall transmit a certified copy of the judgment to the official incharge of the issuance of licenses and registration certificates of the stateof which the defendant is a resident. (1953, c. 1300, s. 12.)
