(a) The Commissionershall adopt and prescribe such regulations concerning the administration andenforcement of this Article as are necessary to protect the public. TheCommissioner or his authorized representative shall have the duty of examiningapplicants for commercial driver training schools and instructor's licenses,licensing successful applicants, and inspecting school facilities, records, andequipment.
(b) The Commissionershall administer and enforce the provisions of this Article, and may call uponthe State Superintendent of Public Instruction for assistance in developingand formulating appropriate regulations. (1965, c. 873; 1973, c. 1331,s. 3; 1987, c. 69, c. 827, s. 3.)
