Unless displaced by theprovisions of this Article, the principles of law and equity, including the lawmerchant and the law relating to principal and agent, estoppel, laches, fraud,misrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, insolvency, or other validatingor invalidating cause, supplement its provisions.
