All certificates of title toland in the county shall be numbered consecutively, which number shall beretained as long as the boundaries of the land remain unchanged, and aseparate page or more, with appropriate space for subsequent entries, shall bedevoted to each title in the registration of titles book for the county. Everyentry made upon any certificate of title in such book or upon the owner'scertificate, under any of the provisions of this Chapter, shall be signed bythe register of deeds and minutely dated in conformity with the dates shown bythe entry book.
