Statutes > North-carolina > Chapter_47 > GS_47-29§47‑29. Recording of bankruptcy records.
A copy of the petition withthe schedules omitted beginning a proceeding under the United States BankruptcyAct, or of the decree of adjudication in such proceeding, or of the orderapproving the bond of the trustee appointed in such proceeding, shall berecorded in the office of any register of deeds in North Carolina, and it shallbe the duty of the register of deeds, on request, to record the same. Theregister of deeds shall be entitled to the same fees for such registration ashe is now entitled to for recording conveyances. (1939, c. 254.)
