§53B‑7.  Customer challenge.

(a)        Within 10 daysafter service of a court order or subpoena under this Chapter a customer mayapply to the superior court of the county in which he resides for an orderquashing or modifying the court order or subpoena. The customer shall deliveror mail a copy of the application to the government authority and the financialinstitution named in the court order or subpoena. The superior court shallgrant or deny the application within 10 days after it is filed.

(b)        Nothing in thisChapter affects the right of a financial institution to challenge a request forfinancial records by a government authority under existing law. (1985(Reg. Sess., 1986), c. 1002, s. 1.)
