All the provisions of lawrelating to private corporations, and particularly those enumerated in Chapter55, of the General Statutes, entitled "North Carolina Business CorporationAct," which are not inconsistent with this Chapter, or with the properbusiness of savings and loan associations shall be applicable to all Stateassociations.
