It shall be the duty of theCommissioner of Banks to receive and thoroughly examine each annual statementrequired by G.S. 54B‑75, and if made in compliance with the requirementsthereof, each State association shall at its own expense, publish an abstractof the same in a newspaper having general circulation within each market areaof the association as selected by the managing officer.
