§ 55‑8‑07. Resignation of directors.

(a)        A director mayresign at any time by communicating his resignation to the board of directors,its chair, or the corporation.

(b)        A resignation iseffective when it is communicated unless it specifies in writing a latereffective date or subsequent event upon which it will become effective.
