§ 58‑36‑120. Public notice of certain filings.

Whenever the North CarolinaRate Bureau files for an increase in insurance rates for residential propertyinsurance, the Bureau shall give public notice in at least two newspapers withstatewide distribution and in the North Carolina Register, within 10 businessdays after the filing, which notice shall state that the Commissioner may ormay not schedule and conduct a hearing with respect to the filing. The sameinformation shall be posted on the Web site for the North Carolina Rate Bureauand the North Carolina Department of Insurance Web site within three days afterthe filing. The requirements of this section shall not apply to filingsproposing changes as to forms, relativities, and classifications that are filedat no increase in the overall rate level.  (2009‑472, s. 5.)
