§58‑36‑80.  Coverage for damage to rental vehicles authorized.

As used in this section,"property damage" means damage or loss to a rented vehicle in excessof two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), including loss of use and any costs orexpenses incident to the damage or loss, for which the renter is legallyobligated to pay; and "rented" means rented on a daily rate basis fora period of 21 consecutive days or less.  The Bureau is authorized topromulgate rates and policy forms for insurance against property damage torented private passenger motor vehicles.  Such coverage may be offered at theoption of the individual member companies of the Bureau.
