§58‑65‑80.  Meaning of terms "accident", "accidentalinjury", and "accidental means".

(a)        This sectionapplies to the provisions of all subscriber contracts under this Article andArticle 66 of this Chapter that are issued on or after October 1, 1989, andpreferred provider arrangements under this Article and Article 66 of thisChapter that are entered into on or after October 1, 1989.

(b)        "Accident","accidental injury", and "accidental means" shall bedefined to imply "result" language and shall not include words thatestablish an accidental means test. (1989, c. 485, s. 11.)
