§58‑7‑65.  Conversion to foreign insurer.

Any domestic insurer may, uponthe approval of the Commissioner, transfer its domicile to any other state inwhich it is licensed to transact the business of insurance.  Upon such atransfer such insurer shall cease to be a domestic insurer and shall belicensed in this State, if qualified, as a foreign insurer.  The Commissionershall approve any such proposed transfer unless he determines that suchtransfer is not in the interest of the policyholders of this State. (1987,c. 752, s. 10.)
