In all civil actionsdepending, or which may be instituted, by any of the officers of the State, orwhich have been or shall be instituted against them, when any such action isbrought or defended pursuant to the advice of the Attorney General, and thesame is decided against such officers, the cost thereof shall be paid by theState Treasurer upon properly drawn warrants.
