§ 62‑279. Injunction for unlawful operations.

If any motor carrier, or any other person or corporation, shall operatea motor vehicle in violation of any provision of this Chapter applicable tomotor carriers or motor vehicles generally, except as to the reasonableness ofrates or charges and the discriminatory character thereof, or shall operate inviolation of any rule, regulation, requirement or order of the Commission, orof any term or condition of any certificate, the Commission or any holder of a certificateduly issued by the Commission may apply to a superior court judge who hasjurisdiction pursuant to G.S. 7A‑47.1 or 7A‑48 in the district orset of districts as defined in G.S. 7A‑41.1 in which the motor carrier orother person or corporation so operates, for the enforcement of any provisionsof this Article, or of any rule, regulation, requirement, order, term orcondition of the Commission. Such court shall have jurisdiction to enforceobedience to this Article or to any rule, order, or decision of the Commissionby a writ of injunction or other process, mandatory or otherwise, restrainingsuch carrier, person or corporation, or its officers, agents, employees andrepresentatives from further violation of this Article or of any rule, order,regulation, or decision of the Commission.
