§66‑36.  Bond required.

Every person or everycorporation organized under G.S. 66‑35, to become a public warehouseman,except such as shall have a capital stock of not less than five thousanddollars ($5,000), shall give bond in a reliable bonding or surety company, oran individual bond with sufficient sureties, payable to the State of NorthCarolina, in an amount not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), to beapproved, filed with and recorded by the clerk of the superior court of thecounty in which the warehouse is located, for the faithful performance of theduties of a public warehouseman; but if such person or corporation has acapital stock of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000), then it shallnot be required to give the bond mentioned in this section.
