No master or commander of anyvessel shall take on board any cask or barrel or other commodity, liable toinspection as aforesaid, without its being inspected and branded as required,under the penalty of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense.
The clear proceeds ofpenalties provided for in this section shall be remitted to the Civil Penaltyand Forfeiture Fund in accordance with G.S. 115C‑457.2. (1784,c. 206, s. 6; R.C., c. 60, s. 59; Code, ss. 3036, 3037; Rev., ss. 4657, 4658;C.S., s. 5074; 1998‑215, s. 41.)
