§ 74C‑6.  Position ofDirector created.

The position of Director ofthe Private Protective Services Board is hereby created within the Departmentof Justice. The Attorney General shall appoint a person to fill this full‑timeposition. The Director's duties shall be to administer the directives containedin this Chapter and the rules promulgated by the Board to implement thisChapter and to carry out the administrative duties incident to the functioningof the Board in order to actively police the private protective servicesindustry to ensure compliance with the law in all aspects. (1973, c. 528, s. 1; 1979, c.818, s. 2; 1999‑456, s. 20; 2001‑487, s. 64(b).)
