(a) The Secretary ofState may suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a registration for conduct thatwould have justified denial of registration under G.S. 78C‑90(b).
(b) The Secretary ofState may deny, suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a certificate ofregistration or licensure only after proper notice and an opportunity for ahearing in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act pursuant toArticle 3 of Chapter 150B of the General Statutes.
