Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, the civil procedureprovided in Chapters 1 and 1A of the General Statutes applies in the districtcourt division of the General Court of Justice. Where there is reference inChapters 1 and 1A of the General Statutes to the superior court, it shall bedeemed to refer also to the district court in respect of causes in the districtcourt division.
