§ 7A‑211.  Smallclaim actions assignable to magistrates.

In the interest of speedy and convenient determination, the chiefdistrict judge may, in his discretion, by specific order or general rule,assign to any magistrate of his district any small claim action pending in hisdistrict if the defendant is a resident of the county in which the magistrateresides. If there is more than one defendant, at least one of them must be abona fide resident of the county in which the magistrate resides. (1965, c. 310, s. 1, 1967, c.  1165.)
