Article 5.

Jurisdiction.

§ 7A‑25.  Original jurisdiction of the SupremeCourt.

The Supreme Court has original jurisdiction to hear claims against theState, but its decisions shall be merely recommendatory; no process in thenature of execution shall issue thereon; the decisions shall be reported to thenext session of the General Assembly for its action. The court shall by ruleprescribe the procedures to be followed in the proper exercise of thejurisdiction conferred by this section. (1967, c. 108, s. 1.)
