§ 7B‑2706.  Contempt forfailure to comply.

Upon motion of the juvenilecourt counselor or prosecutor or upon the court's own motion, the court mayissue an order directing the parent, guardian, or custodian to appear and showcause why the parent, guardian, or custodian should not be found or held incivil or criminal contempt for willfully failing to comply with an order of thecourt. Chapter 5A of the General Statutes shall govern contempt proceedingsinitiated pursuant to this Article. (1998‑202, s. 6; 2001‑490, s. 2.31.)
