§8‑25.  Local: records of wills in Duplin.

The transcripts made by theclerk of the Superior Court of Duplin County, in accordance with Chapter threehundred and ninety‑ five of the laws of one thousand nine hundred andseven, of all wills and entries of probate and dates of registration appearingon the same, on file in his office prior and up to the January term of theCounty Court of Duplin County, one thousand eight hundred and thirty, andentered in a book designated as Records of Wills, A, and duly indexed asprovided by law, shall be as competent evidence in any court as are theoriginals of such wills. (1907, c. 395, ss. 1, 2; C.S., s. 1770.)
