§ 84‑28.2.  Personsimmune from suit.

Persons shall be immune fromsuit for all statements made without malice, and intended for transmittal tothe North Carolina State Bar or any board, committee, officer, agent oremployee thereof, or given in any investigation or proceedings, pertaining toalleged misconduct or disability or to reinstatement of an attorney. Theprotection of this immunity does not exist, however, as to statements made toothers not intended for this use. (1975, c. 582, s. 4; 1995, c.431, s. 20.)
